Closure of Test Traffic Measurements Service and Changes to the DNS Monitoring Service

On 1 July 2014, the RIPE NCC Test Traffic Measurements Service (TTM) was shut down. The TTM website no longer shows new measurement data, however, it will continue to show visualisations of historic data.

The old DNS Monitoring Service (DNSMON) was dependent upon measurements run as part of TTM, and has therefore been phased out. The new DNSMON interface is available.

These changes are in line with the RIPE NCC's communications and planning, detailed further in the RIPE Labs article, “Timeline for Phasing Out the Old TTM-Based DNSMON”.
