Statistics

  • RIPE Database Statistics
These statistics provide information about operational plots, RIPE Database queries, inconsistencies and object protection statistics.
  • RIPE Region Hostcount
The RIPE NCC provides monthly statistics on the number of hosts connected to the Internet in Europe and surrounding areas. The statistics are gathered in collaboration with numerous organisations doing local counts for each Country Code Top-Level Domain (ccTLD). Additional hostcount statistics will be introduced to incorporate missing TLDs.
  • Registration Services Response Times
These statistics provide information about the response times for the Registration Services mailboxes.
  • Named Statistics for AS112
As a way to distribute the load for RFC 1918-related queries, we use IPv4 anycast addressing. The address block is 192.175.48.0/24 and its origin Autonomous System (AS) is 112. This address block is advertised from multiple points around the Internet, and these distributed servers coordinate their responses and back-end statistical analyses.
  • Internet Resource Distribution by FTP
Information about IP address space allocations and assignments. This information also indicates the country where resources were first allocated or assigned.
  • Membership Allocation List by FTP
A list of IPv4 and IPv6 allocations made to our members. This list shows:
    • the Registry Identifier
    • the name of the Local Internet Registry
    • the date when the allocation was made
    • the range and size of the allocation
    • the status of the allocation
  • DNS Lameness Statistics
The RIPE NCC runs a lameness check once a month on all DNS servers listed as delegation points within the RIPE NCC delegated zones. If a server fails this test it is retried five times over a period of ten days, at varying times of day. If, after this time, the server continues to fail the test, it is classed as lame. We provide statistics for all servers and with servers sorted by /8.
