Objectives

The RIPE Network Coordination Centre (RIPE NCC) provides services to European Internet Service Providers, Telecommunications, and large Enterprises in the RIPE NCC service region. The activities include:

Membership Services

• Regional Internet Registry
• Initial Support for New Local Internet Registries (LIRs)
• Liaison and Co-ordination
• Test Traffic Measurements (TTM)
• Membership - RIPE NCC Interaction Facilities

Co-ordination Activities

• RIPE Database Maintenance and Development
• Information Services, Communication, and Education
• DNS Co-ordination
• RIPE Meetings

New Activities

• Routing Information Service (RIS)
• Deployment of Internet Security Infrastructure (DISI)
