RIPE Region Hostcount: Output Data AUP

Agreement of Acceptable Use of the host Output Data from the RIPE Region Hostcount

1. This data is for Internet operational and statistical purposes agreed by the RIPE NCC prior to use, no part of this data may be reproduced, or transmitted, in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, recording, or otherwise, without prior permission of the RIPE NCC on behalf of the copyright holders.

2. The RIPE NCC requires that all data that is reproduced or published remain anonymous. For example, all email addresses or IP address information must be made anonymous when data is reproduced for Internet operational or statistical purposes.

3. Any use of this material to target advertising or similar activities is explicitly forbidden and will result in prosecution. The RIPE NCC requests to be notified of any such activities or suspicions thereof.

4. While every precaution has been taken in the preparation of this data, the RIPE NCC assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions, or damages resulting from the use and publication of the information contained herein.

5. This information is provided courtesy of the RIPE Network Coordination Centre. We kindly ask that the RIPE NCC is quoted as the original information source as follows:

6. Should any information obtained be reproduced or published, the RIPE NCC requests that it be notified directly with a resource reference resulting from the usage.

7. The RIPE NCC requests that it be notified of any third parties violating the acceptable use policy criterion outlined above.

8. To protect those with data included in the Hostcount, the RIPE NCC may need to specify additional conditions on access permissions for this data in the future. The permission to access the data is based on agreement to the conditions stipulated here, in addition to any others that may be added in the future.
