January Summary

96 Top Level Domains were scanned, in comparison with 95 in December,
- a total of 16,414,704
real
hosts were found, compared to
15,646,845 in December.
- the TLD de had the most real hosts, with
2,487,665 (approximately 15%
of the total).
- the largest increase was in the TLD es,
at an increase of 549,256 real hosts
in comparison with December.
- 13 TLDs were being ommitted from the count
at the time of generation of this page:

Notes
- The December, 2001 data for bf, cf, dj,
ir, ne and om was reused since no
new collection could be done in January due to AXFR blocks
and unreachable nameservers.
