2,593,716 (approximately 16%
of the total).
- the largest change was in the TLD ru,
with an increase of 399,611 real hosts
in comparison with August.
- 14 TLDs were being ommitted from the count
at the time of generation of this page:

Notes
- The August, 2001 data for pt had to be reused since no
new data was collected.
- The July, 2001 data for be had to be
reused due some problems with the local collection.
- The August, 2001 data for mt was reused because no new
remote data has been uploaded.
