January Summary

84 Top Level Domains were scanned.
- a total of 12,686,098
real
hosts were found, compared to
12,720,814 in December.
- the TLD de had the most real hosts, with
2,159,716 (approximately 17%
of the total).
- the largest change was in the TLD de,
with an increase of 119,279 real hosts
in comparison with December.
- 25 TLDs were being ommitted from the count
at the time of generation of this page:

Notes
- the January, 2000 data had to be reused for uk due to
problems with co.uk. since that time.
- the November data had to be reused for dk
and it due to truncated data.
- sn was removed from the count due to zone
transfer restrictions at the top level.
- jo was added to the count after recent
transfer problems were resolved.
- no details of the number of no response and
AXFR block zones are available for de.
