Following the implementation of ripe-563 "Abuse Contact Management in the RIPE Database", a new contact attribute has been added to the RIPE Database. This attribute references a role object holding abuse contact information.
All Internet number resource holders need to take action. In the first phase of implementation, all RIPE NCC members need to set up an "abuse-c:" attribute in their LIR organisation object.
Details of how to do this are described in this RIPE Labs article "Creating and Finding Abuse Contacts in the RIPE Database (Update on Implementing ripe-563)".
All LIRs with an address allocation (either IPv4 or IPv6) MUST set this up by 30 November 2013.
